Pre-Show

Some local Hartford radio station had a contest & 25 winners were invited to a private show prior to the real show. It took the place of the soundcheck & was REALLY UNUSUAL & featured some new material that's never been performed before as far as I know. Most of this private show was with full band. Here's the amazing setlist to that first:

  1. Band Jam warmup
  2. Under The Water
  3. Stay (this kicks ass but isn't quite finished yet. Just as rockin as "Down"!)
  4. Down
  5. Take Me Break Me (another interesting electric work in progress)
  6. Behind the Wall (solo)
  7. Grey Matter (solo)
  8. Your Mama Don't Dance & Your Daddy Don't Rock & Roll (I'm not kidding!)
  9. Everything Breaks (teaching the band this. WONDERFUL!!)
  10. You're In Cleveland Today
  11. Carnivore

Well that was the incredible "pre-show". The "real" show wasn't too shabby either. The crowd was very respectful during Jewel's set but were quite rude during David Baerwald's set prompting Jewel to come out & let the audience have a piece of her mind. She joined him on his last song as well-"duet::Smart in a Stupid Way" After a 10 minute intermission Jewel began her set.
